Nar Valley Fisheries

Privately owned fisheries adjacent to River Nar, comprising several lakes restored from former gravel pits.

Species: Winter: Good site for Goldeneye, Goosander, Smew, Little Egret, Siskin and Brambling, Snipe and occasional Jack Snipe. Spring/Summer: Terns, Gulls, Nightingale, Warblers (including Cetti’s), Grebes, Hobby, Cuckoo.

Access: Private land – permit holders only – or view from public path. Park safely at TF 670136 and walk almost 1 mile to view from Nar Valley Way (public path) at TF 681129.
