Sandringham CP

A Country Park, part of the Sandringham Estate covering deciduous but mostly conifer woodland with a mixed under story with patches of dense rhododendron. Way marked nature trails cover the areas and there is a small, currently poorly maintained bird hide. Woodland birds. Autumn through Spring is best. Avoid weekends and bank holidays.

All year round: Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Lesser Redpoll, Marsh Tit. Chance of Common Crossbill.

Access: From the A149 and 2 miles south of Dersingham turn east onto the first minor road west and take the first turning onto the Scenic Drive through the impressive metal gates. Some picnic sites can be found on route but continue to the main visitor centre where there is free parking. Follow the coloured trails from there.TF690288.
