West Newton & River Babingley
The middle section of the Babingley river from the Water Mill at West Newton through to the A149 north of Castle Rising.
A walk along the river starting south of the mill through farmland with patches of mixed/coniferous woodland, reedbed, hedgerows and grazing.
Species: All year: Grey Wagtail, Marsh Harrier, Shelduck, Grey Partridge. Occasional Kingfisher, Red Kite, Little Owl.
Access: Parking on side of minor road (do not obstruct farm tracks) running between West Newton village and the A148 at TF697255.
