A wooded area with rhododendron cover either side of the two minor roads leading to the village of Wolferton. The Triangle, is where the roads cross in a ‘scissors’ and continue on to the village. The northern most road (right) leads to Dersingham Bog.
One of the most reliable sites to see Golden Pheasant in Norfolk.
Winter – early spring: The pheasants can be seen during winter and especially spring when the males call. A tactic of ‘wait and watch’ from the car often prevails with dawn especially, or dusk the best times.
Access: From the A149 and 2 miles south of Dersingham turn west onto one of the two minor roads to Wolferton village which cross to form a 'triangle' at TF668280. Do not enter the woods either side of the triangle.
